Idryonis Audio Team signs production deal with EnTCo

Published Friday, June 06, 2008

Entertainment Technology Corporation has hired Idryonis Studios to create, compose, and produce the audio and music for EnTCo's upcoming amusement attraction, called Wild Earth: Deep Ocean Safari. The ride will be installed in museums, aquariums, and entertainment centers around the globe.

The Idryonis Studios Audio Team will be creating sound effects for the marine life and mechanical noises, and unique sound design to enhance the underwater ambience of the deep ocean. In addition, an original musical score of approximately 9 cues will feature a full orchestra and will set the mood as players descend from the surface "twilight" to the pitch black deep ocean.

Wild Earth: Deep Ocean Safari is a 4-person virtual reality attraction that simulates the sights, sounds, and motion of a submarine exploration. The ride features a 180-degree dome display and 5.1 surround sound.

More information about the ride, by EnTCo, can be found here.

For details about the project and and brief case study, please visit the Wild Earth: Deep Ocean Safari project page.
